I stared in disdain at the blackish dark lumps, my mind in horror thinking, postulating, what could these unidentified granules be. Swarmed in murky water, with a tinge of oily surface. On the other side laid pieces of cuttleries, plates that were once white - now spotting streaks of brownish colouration, most possibly of leftovers.
Ewww. Gross. Disgusting beyond belief!! -____-"
That sickening presentation of the kitchen with its flooded sink was more than I could bear. My stomach churned, gutted as my eyes once again fluttered to the bottom of the sink hole, ironically captivated by the disgusting mass that blocked it in the first place. But before my mind could processed and fully analysed what they were (was it a piece of bone? or some leftover meat? or maybe accumulation of cereals or spices or onions?) I never found out for sure - as the blobs and the whole area proved to be too repulsive to my scrutinising gaze, as I hurried back to my room.
Ewww ewww ewww ewww ewww!!!!!! My mind chanted the one word - like a toddler who just learn a whole new word and wont stop saying it over and over again. Ewww ewww ewww. EWWW! >.<
At times like these, I couldnt even stomach cooking in the same area, in the same kitchen. Ewww. One thing I am grateful at is to Mr. Indomee (or whoever invented indomee aka maggi goreng in the first place) - for his ingenious creation of instant noodles that can be cooked purely by soaking under hot water, in the comfort of my own clean room. Mr Indomee: I heart you <3 - that might not be the best meal (haha!) but you just save my grumbling stomach. huhu.
I just hope the irresponsible tenants who made a pigsty out of the said kitchen would clean up their mess pretty soon. It is one thing to gobble up a "nutritionist's nightmare dish" (ie maggi) for one meal, but it is another to turn to maggi as a sole nutrition provider for days. Heck, no!
