...But I am not ready to leave.. yet. :/
Actually, pedantically speaking, I am just not looking forward to start my new run (cardio/respiratory) next week. Ah. :s Friends who have survived the aforementioned run collectively said the run is the hardest for the year, maybe second only to the GM run (which follows cardio/resp). Huzzah. :/ Some people really do like to see me squirm by incessantly telling me how mighty difficult my life is going to be from now on. Ah. Friends.. tsk tsk.. what can you do without them eh? Ha.
And, yes, I am feeling ... disheartened to leave the big red building this afternoon. I looked back after taking a couple of steps, saw a couple of my colleagues slipping out of the big sliding door. 5 weeks passed by so fast - how was it that the time flied by in the blink of an eye? I have fallen in love with the hospital, I have felt right at home in this hospital. I love my mentor, I love my consultant, I love the course convenor who never fail to spare his time and chat me up discussing about my progress and life. Actually, the best aspect of the attachment comes from how nice everyone is - I felt nurtured, I felt babied, I felt like I am free to learn and everything is just at my disposal for me to learn. I have forgotten how to feel intimidated. I have forgotten how it was like to be squashed at the wall by just the mere presence of a consultant.
But next week, I will be back at the Christchurch Hospital. Sigh. I just hope I will be in an overtly-enthusiastic team too. Everyone, hope with me okeh! =) I am going to drown all my apprehension with a fun-filled weekend, starting with shooting my friends tonight. Heh. Who says they can scare me with their horror stories of bloodsucking consultants ah? I am looking forward to laserstrike tonight. Yay!! Has been a while since I saw everyone from school, I hope most people would come.. =D
