Today, I am told that I am a cheese. I sit curiously in between two cheeses in a room full of cheese. Somehow, right before the consultant's eyes, everyone morphs into a thick, wedge-shaped swiss cheese with multiple holes - squirming a little bit as we listen intently on the how and the whys he reduced our individual existence to a mere slab of cheese. He went on that within ourselves as this block of metaphorical cheese, we possess multiple holes, sort of like .. innate loopholes - which he akin to mistakes. [Heh. My pride could think of many retorts of how this consanguinity is faulty but that would only lead me to go on and on on an endless tirade]. But anyway, the point of this afternoon exercise (and his semi-philosophical talks) is to see that - we make mistakes even when the obvious smack us right on the face. So he won - none of us could give him the right diagnosis for the case he put forward. =.-
This afternoon too, we attended CPR training - which is quite a reminisce of what I did years ago during first year, to pass FirstAid course and again, early this year during the mock practice osce. Again, for numerous times, I am still having quite a bit of trouble blowing air into the adult mannequin. Heh. =.- But then again, I am we are told that we dont really do mouth-to-mouth in a hospital setting anyway..
So, thats pretty much my first day back after the one week break. I am joining Al in a cardiology team this week.. Hrm. No comments about that for now. huhu. Now that classes have resumed and I have piles of assignments to do plus exams to study, life is no longer a walk in the park. :/
