because today is officially the last day of my summer (boohoo!), i reckon i'll summarise what i had been up to this summer..

- my sister came up here early this summer. that was pretty good. i think we both had fun... albeit i noticed that she was a bit cling-y the whole time to me (which i only came to know why later on during my holidays.) oh i so like to post up our pictures here but with everything else going on, i had forgotten to save them pictures in my laptop before i left. oh well.

- my brother, chi, is now an engaged man. =) m so happy for him. oh and i like her too. =) congratulations to you both. she already feels like a sister to me. awesome! (you know, this was one of the happiest things that happened during my summer. and i look forward to hang out with her again. yay!)


- met my grandma. <3 when i saw her, i told myself that i wouldnt let her down. i wanted to make her proud of me, one day. <3

- my sister coaxed me into straightening my hair. but i didnt. nyeh nyeh. =p i got myself a perm though. and i am loving it! ;) hehe. its just funny, we used to have the same hairstyles and everything.. heh.

- sometime during the summer, my sister popped the answers to my silent questions; so i wasnt imagining them at all. she was (is?) acting weird and didnt seem to act like herself at all. i left that night and had a sleptover at my cousin. i needed time to think stuffs through, and i had a great time that weekend. =)

- the following days and weeks after that, i went out a lot. i found my own reasons to go out, with anyone. huhu. when actually, i couldnt stand being at home and was doing everything i could to avoid seeing a certain someone. dad said i have a stubborn streak. my sister understood why. and it finally dawned on me why she was hardly home too. huhu.

- things got better. or i like to believe they are. =) we had our own family gatherings without that person. i was happy. my sister was happier. everyone was happy. we were having fun. =)


- met up with some my friends. which were awesome. old friends are certainly the best. <3


that was my summer. i think i had fun. and i think i felt closer to my sister than ever now. <3 and everything else.. just fell back to place. i do believe we are getting a happy ending. =)

as for me here... i am now in christchurch. i think i made the right decision to move from dunedin to here. sure, i miss my friends a lot. left my best friends in dunedin, and diyana is moving further up north. and yet, i never regret this decision to move away. i think our friendships are pretty strong to cross over these few hundred kilometres. =)

tomorrow is the start of my orientation week. new place, new hospital, new tasks. i hope everything is going well this year. i'll try to make it a point to procrastinate less (really. ill try!), and i really hope that my team this year, will work well together. Amiin.
