Today is officially the second day of spring although the cloudy and somewhat cooler weather says otherwise. I dont trust weather forecasts, its hard to trust that smiling little man on the TV screen discoursing the predicted weather in the world where it rains on a sunny day and snows on a warm day.
The other night, my groupmates invited me for a get-together at Am's place. Just a quiet pleasant potluck dinner, they say. Bring an international dish, Charl urged me that one afternoon when we were sitting around in the cafe. The promise was it would be an awesome night, with no alcohol involve. But I end up spending the night at my flat with a handful of friends - and I had a lot of fun. Having a few mates definitely count better than being in a roomful of colleagues. Besides, I didnt feel much like dressing up and partying. I'd pick a comfortable pj's anytime. Heh. antisocial much.
Education-wise, I slack. Heh. So what else is new? The other night, I was chatting with Ara - discussing about the progress of our own long case. I have barely typed up anything when I really should have finished typing this up last week, before my case presentation.. which, incidentally, sucks. My presentation sucks. My mentor didnt look impress the other day when I presented my case from pieces of loose papers. =( I should have prepared better.. I should have started doing my other assignments too, like that research proposal which I still havent got any slightest idea on what to write on. My notes are missing and I only have myself to blame when I am running out of time trying to finish many tasks at the same time plus studying for the endless osces and written exams. Sigh. So many I should haves.. =(
In the near future, I am aspiring to be an octopus - multitasking with my many many many arms. Sigh. The problem with crustaceans is, they dont plan ahead. =( And they are oh so very antisocial (especially when they are not amused).
