With exams just around the corner (6 more weeks to go), I've been waiting for a full-blown panic attack to hit me. To hit me hard, to scare the hell out of me, to make my days filled with dreads of looming exam period. Because frankly, as much as I said I am studying (or I tried to study, pedantically speaking), the said revision sessions were mostly filled with internet surfing, games playing, comics reading and other related procrastinating activities. pfft.
Until tonight. woohoo~ ;)
Flipping through my yellow handbook, scanning my schedules, momentarily happy finding out classes are becoming relatively sparse from now on - until I flicked to the last page, the glee in my eyes diminished as I scanned in horror at the examweek page. Felt a lump in my throat, that hollow feeling again... I swore if it was not cold in my room, beads of perspiration would have formed at my forehead.
Alarmed at my lack of preparation. Shuddered at the thought of answering questions. Terrified even. Dread building up - too fast perhaps, as I felt another sensation in my stomach. The butterflies turned menacing, as if rocking themselves out in my gut. I felt nauseous, and finally threw up.
Great. I recognized this reaction again. Anticipated this. Finally, under stress, I could work well, InsyaAllah. My caffeine period has finally begun. woohoo~ ^^
