Today, I was fooled again. By the unpredictable weather. Heh. :S

Went out to the mall again. (we've been going out everyday since the day we arrived, finding reasons to go out everyday, feeding reasons to buy more and more items everyday $_$ - which is ultimately unhealthy, financially anyway. Heh. :S)

And today, we went out again because the day was too hot, too scorchingly hot, that it called for an emergency rush to the mall. At least that was what we've been telling each other; that our house was too hot, too uncomfortably hot, to spend the day in; when a mere 15 mins walk from our place could bring us to a much cooler place ie the mall ;) (nevermind the fact that we do have an air-conditioner in the lounge area. Hah.) And so, there we were, walking eagerly to the mall, dressed in summerwear in our attempt to beat the blazing heat.

Oh that was fine. Wandered in and out of shops. That was pretty good too. The problem only came after a few hours, when it was time to get back home. We must have forgotten that this is new zealand afterall, and the weather can be annoyingly unpredictable. :S
It was cold, it was drizzling, it was windy - 3 combinations that made our journey home so-not-fun (imagine us waddling by the streets, desperately trying to walk as fast as possible with our hands tucking our skirts down in an attempt to minimise the risk of flashing other people. =____= )

Hah. When will I ever learn not to be fooled again by the bright sunshine on this land? Note to self: I really really really must make my hoodie / waterproof jacket my bestfriend. Heh.

on a brighter side though, cozying in my bed afterwards was sooo nice. ^.^
